Haruno-Sugi (Sugi Tree Forest)

Daikoji Temple sits at the summit of Mt. Haruno, which is said to be founded by the monk Gyoki. On the grounds of the temple, you can see a giant cedar tree. Standing 43 meters in height, it is 1,300 years old and designated a Natural Treasure of Shizuoka Prefecture.
