Air Park JASDF Hamamatsu Air Base Museum

The JASDF (Japan Air Self-Defense Force) Air Base Museum is a museum built upon the theme of visitors “seeing, experiencing, and enjoying” fighter aircrafts. There are tons of attractions, including an introduction to the F-1 support fighter mechanism, a full-dome theater, and a flight simulator that replicates air turbulence. People of all ages can enjoy this museum.

Business HoursBusiness Hours: 9:00-16:00. Closed: Mondays (Open on national holidays and will close the following day), Every last Tuesday of the month, Tuesday-Thursday during the second week of March, New Year’s holiday (12/29-1/3)

Access・Car: 10 minutes from Tomei Expwy Hamamatsu-Nishi IC
・Bus:
1. 30 minutes by Entetsu Bus from Hamamatsu Station (Bus Stop 14 Izumi-Takaoka Bound) to Izumi-Yonchome, then walk 10 minutes on foot
2. 30 minutes by Entetsu Bus from Hamamatsu Station (Bus Stop 16 Wago-Nishiyama Bound) to Air Base Museum (one bus per day)
