As a region with a strong connection with “Evangelion”, Hamamatsu City will be running a series of events promoting the franchise. Why not take a tour around the city and experience it for yourself?

1. Model Region
Tenryu Futamata Station on the Tenryu Hamanako Railway line was used as inspiration when designing Village-3 from Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time

The “Spear of Longinus” is also on exhibition at the Tenryu Futamata Station railway yard.
Fans can see the Spear of Longinus by taking part in the railway yard tour.

2. EVA-01 TEST TYPE Statue Installation
A ~6m tall statue of EVA-01 TEST TYPE will be installed in the Hamamatsu City Hall alongside a commemorative monument with an emblem design celebrating Evangelion’s 30th anniversary.

3. Train Wrapping Operation
The Tenryu Hamanako Railway and Enshu Railway will both be decorating their trains with special Evangelion-themed wrapping.

4. New Design “Enshu Railway and Tenryu Hamanako Railway Joint 1-Day Travel Pass” for Sale
The pass covers trips along the eastern routes of the Tenryu Hamanako and Enshu Railways (from Kakegawa to Nishi-kajima) and the western route of the Tenryu Hamanako Railway (from Shinjohara to Tenryu Futamata).
The pass for the western route features designs of Shinji Ikari, while the pass for the eastern route features designs of Kaworu Nagisa. The pass can be purchased at the service windows of staffed stations on the Enshu Railway and Tenryu Hamanako Railway.
