Hamamatsu Craft Beer

Beer is widely enjoyed in Japan, especially during the hot and humid summer season. There are several major beer brands produced by large Japanese companies. In recent years, however, craft beers made by small regional breweries are becoming more an more popular. In Hamamatsu, there are two small breweries—Mein Schloss and Octagon Brewing—that have their origins in German beers. Each company has a brewery and an adjoining shop located right near Hamamatsu Station. Each location brews unique beers, allowing visitors to enjoy some taste sampling. How about enjoying a delicious craft beer in the evening to cool down on a hot summer’s day?
