Hamamatsu Illuminations 2024-2025 6 Recommendations | A winter landscape woven with light art

The illuminations are beautiful lighting displays that brighten up winter nights and invite visitors into a fantastical world.

*The Santa Claus exhibit in the large greenhouse “Crystal Palace” will be on display until December 25th (Wednesday).

Zaza City Hamamatsu | Kajicho Street Tree Illumination

In front of Zaza City Hamamatsu in the center of Hamamatsu, the Kajicho Street Tree Illumination is held, which can be enjoyed throughout the city.

Ryugashido Cave | Illumination " Illumination glow-worm"

Ryugashido Cave, a popular tourist spot in Hamamatsu City, will host a special illumination event that can be enjoyed even during the day.

The small cavern at Yokitado Cave, a foot bath facility located just before the Ryugasaki Cave, is decorated with lots of electric lights, giving you the feeling of being under the stars.

Kirakira Festa in Kosai (JR Washizu Station)

You can also enjoy illuminations in Kosai City, next to Hamamatsu City!

We recommend the “Kirakira Festa in Kosai” illuminations, which can be enjoyed in just a minute’s walk from JR Washizu Station.

The rotary in front of the station and the street trees and street lamps in the square in front of the station are decorated with sparkling electric lights.

“Kirakira Festa in Kosai” is held every year with the support of volunteer residents and local businesses, and this year marks the 22nd time it has been held.
