Do you know the drama “Minami-kun ga Koibito!?”?
The world of that drama!
I went to a place where I could feel like a dwarf.
The location is “Sweets Bank” in Chuo Ward, Hamamatsu City!
Sweets Bank is a complex facility that includes a Hamamatsu famous confectionery shop and cafe, Shunkado, rental conference rooms, and Hamamatsuiwata Shinkin Bank.
This time, we will be introducing the cafe’s exquisite lunches and sweets, as well as SHOP Shunkado’s famous Hamamatsu sweets and Sweets Bank limited edition items.
The reason why you can feel like a dwarf at Sweets Bank is…
As you can see in the photo, everyday items such as tables, chairs, and Shunkado paper bags have been turned into a huge structure.
It makes you feel like you’ve become smaller.
The secret to its popularity is that it’s a photo spot that’s sure to take a great photo!
This time, we’ll have lunch at the cafe and bakery “Toratofusen” inside Sweets Bank!
Recommended is “DELI LUNCH” ♡
Appetizers and main dishes are choice-based, so choose what you like from that day’s menu and create your own original lunch.
My choices for the day are as follows.
Drinks were also plentiful.
This mascarpone latte is irresistible on a hot day.
Combining coffee with eel pie and mascarpone is full of originality.
There are many types of sweets, but these are the ones I personally recommend.
This is a plate where you can enjoy 4 different half sizes of Saku Claire sold at SHOP Shunkado.
It’s not too sweet, so you can eat all 4 types in one go.
Inside the store, there are private booths like this.
There is also a stylish open space surrounding a large tea cup.
Next to “Torato Fusen” is “SHOP Shunkado”, a confectionery shop that represents Hamamatsu.
I’m glad that they have a wide variety of products, including eel pie.
This “Eel Pie Assortment”, which is available only at Sweets Bank, would make a great souvenir.
The most attractive thing about Sweets Bank’s “SHOP Shunkado” is that there is a bakery inside the store!
If you come to the store in time for the baking time, you can purchase freshly baked food.
Freshly baked items such as canelés, financiers, and limited-time cream puffs are available for purchase.
Furthermore, this “Kobito no Petitful Can” is a Sweets Bank exclusive sweet that is not available at the several Shunkado shops in Hamamatsu City.
Cookies soaked in chocolate have a crispy texture◎
It has a cute appearance and is perfect as a souvenir.
*It seems that “Kobito no Petitful Can” will be renewed with a new design from October.
Here is another cute item from “SHOP Shunkado”♡
This is a bandage in the shape of “eel pie”, a famous Hamamatsu confectionery!
The bandaid box also has a cute eel pie box design.
If you are familiar with eel pie, this product will make you laugh.
“Eel Pie Original Bandage” is not a product exclusive to Sweets Bank, but if you come across it, be sure to check it out.
For those who visit Sweets Bank, there are some photogenic spots that you should definitely stop by.
That’s it here.
Do you know where this is?
The answer to this stylish and cute space that looks like a country-style kitchen is…
Enjoying going to Sweets Bank ♡
Please go check out the answers.
“Sweets Bank” is a fun place where you can buy souvenirs that are delicious and photogenic.
It would be great to bring people from outside the prefecture as it would have a great impact♪

A new way to enjoy the cool and soft Hamamatsu Chusen Yukata, not just fireworks.
“Is there a fireworks display somewhere today?” I often get asked when I’m wearing a yukata. This is probably because many people have an established image of it as something to wear when going to a fireworks display. They brightly color the Japanese summer, and just seeing them will instantly get you in the summer mood. In fact, yukata is a specialty product that Hamamatsu accounts for about half of the total amount handled, and boasts the highest amount of yukata in Japan.
The manufacturer of Hamamatsu-made yukata has begun a “new challenge” in order to preserve the area of production and the skills of its craftsmen. What we will be talking about here is a yukata made using the traditional “Chusen-some” technique. In recent years, it has been introduced more and more in the news, and you may have come across this word more often. Chusen-some is a method of dyeing yukata and tenugui with colored patterns, and it got its name from the fact that the dye is poured over the folded fabric. Using traditional techniques found only in Japan, every step is made by hand by skilled craftsmen.
“Strawberry picking” at the fruit park where everyone from children to adults can play for the whole day.
Strawberries are a fruit with an adorable appearance, bright color, and sweet taste.
Which do you eat first, the top or the bottom?
Some people place emphasis on ease of eating and eat by holding the stem and starting with the thinner end, but since sugar accumulates in the thinner part at the bottom, strawberries start eating from the top and taste sweet and sour. It seems that many people enjoy the sweetest taste at the end.
Some people say, “Eating from the side will even out the sweetness,” and each person has their own preferences when it comes to how they eat it.
Today, we visited Hamamatsu Fruit Park Tokinosumi in Miyakodamachi, Kita Ward, Hamamatsu City, and talked about strawberry picking, which is especially popular among all the fruits.
