Lake Hamana barbecue and sunset cruise where you can enjoy the resort feeling

The mornings and evenings are getting much cooler. It’s still hot during the day, but I think there are more and more people who want to go out but are worried about where they’re going and how they’re going to spend their time there.

This time, I would like to introduce a special plan that will make you feel like you are at a resort while eating fresh and delicious seafood caught at Lake Hamana in an environment that avoids crowds.

On this day, Sea Lake HAMANA Jenne came to Boat Club Canal on the shores of Lake Hamana.

This facility features a spacious grounds with bright green grass, a marina where boats can be moored, and a clean barbecue space. There is a waterway leading to Lake Hamana in front of you, and the atmosphere on the opposite shore makes you feel like you are in a resort area.

Boat Club Canal has a waterway leading to Lake Hamana and bright green grass right in front of it.

Today we will enjoy a seafood barbecue here in the evening. A barbecue set of fresh seafood was prepared by Kyokuryoumaru, a shrimp fisherman from Lake Hamana Arai.

The menu is indescribably gorgeous! ! Grilled crab, aqua pazza made with rockfish caught from Lake Hamana, and ajillo with tiger shrimp and camembert. Depending on the fishing situation, you can order luxurious seafood such as grilled crab, rockfish, shrimp, shellfish, and processed fish raw ham for as little as 2,500 yen per person.

The fish of the day was rockfish. Two shots with rockfish before handling

The fragrant crab smell makes you smile

Jenne and the others are a little nervous about the important part of cooking. They begin preparing the meal by preparing the fish, cutting the vegetables, and then dividing into their respective positions at the grilling area. I started cooking after taking all precautions to prevent infection, such as washing my hands, disinfecting with alcohol, wearing a face shield, and wearing vinyl gloves. I’m happy because the iron plate doesn’t emit smoke, so odors won’t stick to your clothes.

Hana no Mai Sake Brewery/Abysee

To accompany the seafood barbecue, we serve “Abysee,” an alcoholic beverage made with wine yeast from the local sake brewery, Hananomai Sake Brewery. This sake is very popular not only for its taste but also for its bottle design, and is a favorite of Jenne and others as well.

Somehow I finished cooking and sat down at the table. While Jenne wants to eat piping hot food quickly, she can’t stop taking pictures of the gorgeous barbecue and its location. Just when I thought I had finally made it, I ate the grilled crab in silence. I can’t help it because it’s delicious.

After cleaning up the barbecue, we boarded the cruiser just before the sun set over Lake Hamana. The white leather sofa gives it a luxurious feel. Set sail while feeling the pleasant breeze of Lake Hamana.

The best part of cruising is being able to take photos like this.

Beautiful sunset view of Bentenjima from the lake

The red torii gate, the symbol of Bentenjima, seen from under the elevated Shinkansen or from a boat will definitely make you feel like you are at a luxury resort. After the sun goes down, relax with a glass in hand while listening to the background music on the ship illuminated by LED lights. It feels like you have Lake Hamana all to yourself.

There are lodging facilities around Lake Hamana, and we recommend using them as a set for birthday parties, girls’ nights out, anniversaries, etc.

How about enjoying the luxurious time at Lake Hamana with your friends and family in a private environment without worrying about your surroundings?

I stayed at THE HAMANAKO on this day.

“We want you to eat delicious food” Hamamatsu Power Food’s popular “Charcoal and Sake Bonzaru”

Have you ever heard of the term “Hamamatsu Power Food”?

“Hamamatsu Power Food” is seasonal ingredients and dishes harvested in the Hamamatsu/Lake Hamana area.

It is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu, who spent 17 years in Hamamatsu and later became a ruler of Japan, supported the rise of Tokugawa Ieyasu through the region’s rich food, including seafood from Lake Hamana.

The Hamamatsu/Lake Hamana area is known for its long sunshine hours and warm climate. It is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu once loved Tokugawa Ieyasu’s food culture, which was nurtured by its rich marine resources and diverse soil.

Among them, we visited Bonzaru, a restaurant that serves many nutritious dishes such as soft-shelled turtle, blowfish, and eel, and spoke to the owner, Takahiro Hakamada.

A weaving experience journey where you can experience traditional Enshu cotton

This time, Jenne and her friends visited Ikenuma Kobo Chiori, a weaving shop that handles Enshu cotton. Enshu Momen is a soft material that does not feel uncomfortable when it touches the skin, making it the perfect textile to wear. This time, Jenne and her friends will experience making stoles. One of the fun parts of the experience is finding your favorite fabric from among the wide variety of colors available.

Sea Lake Report: Walking the Himekaido Road, Kiga-Mikkabi Edition

I decided to walk down Honsaka-dori (commonly known as Hime-kaido), which has been a side street of the Tokaido since ancient times and has been visited by many travelers.

Last time, I walked from the Amma starting point in Chuo Ward, Hamamatsu City to Kiga-shuku in Hamana Ward.

This time, I would like to continue walking from Kiga-juku to Mikkabi-juku.

The atmosphere is different from the section I walked last time, with cobblestone streets and historic sites scattered throughout.

This is a journey where you can feel the vestiges of the past, when many travelers came and went.

I walked around feeling like a person from the past, so I’ll tell you what it was like.
