Hamamatsu Craft Beer Festival is held every year at Solamo where you can enjoy unique craft beers from all over the country. This year (2020), in consideration of safety and security, the event at Solamo has been canceled and will be held online. Over the past few years, craft beer has become a common sight on the menu at restaurants, and it seems that there are many fans across the country. Many of you may be wondering how you can enjoy this year’s online event. I would like to introduce how to enjoy Hamamatsu Craft Beer Festival ONLINE 2020, which will be held this weekend. This craft beer festival will be held for 8 hours from 12:00 to 20:00 using live streaming (free) on You Tube. Unless you are confident in your liver health, it may be difficult to keep drinking beer with one hand. We recommend checking out the corners you want to see and the breweries you’re interested in beforehand.

There will be a total of 5 brewery talks where you can hear from the makers. Twelve breweries will be performing, and craft beer fans will be irresistible with their carefully selected ingredients and manufacturing methods.

There are also two projects that viewers can participate in. The first one, which will be introduced at the beginning of the program, is a quiz where you will be asked to predict the number of beers that will be purchased on the Craft Beer Festival’s e-commerce site and Mercato Mabuchi as of the closing date on October 10th. The title is “How many bottles of beer did we sell? Prediction Quiz.” One person who answers correctly will win a “Mercato Mabuchi Carefully Selected Hamamatsu Gift Box (equivalent to 5,000 yen)” (if there are many correct answers, there will be a lottery). The number of reservations as of the end of September is approximately 1,500. Mercato Mabuchi is holding a craft beer fair at its store, so I think it’s still selling well at this point.

On the day of the You Tube live broadcast, it seems that the number of correct answers will be revealed one digit at a time in four parts. I don’t know which digits they are, but if I can get four numbers, my chances of getting it right will increase dramatically. I definitely want to check it out. The numbers will be released four times: 1) between 12:00 and 12:10, 2) between 13:50 and 14:00, 3) between 15:00 and 15:50, and 4) between 16:00 and 17:00. I recommend that you watch the program continuously even if you are not in front of the screen. The correct answer will be announced during the live broadcast after 7:30 pm on the day.

The second is to post comments for special guests.
