This time, I went to Tatsuyamacho, Tenryu Ward, Hamamatsu City to see the autumn leaves.
Neither Jenne nor the staff knew much about Tatsuyama Town, so we asked Mr. Haseyama, who is in charge of the Hamamatsuyama Village Ikiiki Support Team Tatsuyama, to show us around.

The photo was taken in mid-November, when the trees were starting to change color, so I went to Shirakura Gorge because I wanted to take beautiful photos, including the autumn leaves.

Information signboard. Return to your starting point via the promenade.
Going down from the parking lot, there was an entrance to a promenade that was approximately 1 km long.Although the leaves had just started to change color, the parking lot was already nearly full.
First, I decided to walk along the promenade along the valley, and then come back to see the autumn leaves on the way back.
Shirakura Gorge Hiking Course
When I got down to the stream, I saw a small waterfall and could hear the soothing sound of water. You can enjoy forest bathing as you feel like your whole body is being bathed in negative ions. As I walked along the narrow path, I came across Orihime Bridge.
Although it is only about 1km, there are ups and downs that will keep you breathless.
After walking the promenade, we were able to see the beautiful autumn leaves on the way back to the parking lot.

Here you can enjoy udon and soba made by mothers in Tatsuyama, Akameimo (taro) covered in homemade miso, Gohei mochi, and konnyaku. The rakkyo garnish with the curry is also delicious. You can also purchase souvenirs.
Taro and red sprout potatoes coated with homemade miso
After filling your stomach with delicious food, head to Sejiri Fudo Falls.
This waterfall with a height of 32 meters is registered as one of Hamamatsu’s top 100 natural attractions.
The view of the waterfall from the gazebo located at the bottom of the stairs on the east side of the parking lot is spectacular.
Being so close to the waterfall, you will feel like your whole body is being purified. The trees along the stairs were also changing colors and were very beautiful.
Finally, go to Akiba Dam. Dam woman Jenne Kawamura looks irresistible.
Finally, I got a dam card at the nearby Yatsuyama bathing facility “Yasuragi no Yu” and headed home.

[Future farm in Kosai city?!] Sneak into the dairy farm “Mansaku Farm”!
The other day, I took part in a “Migration Experience Tour” organized by the Kosai City Manufacturing Promotion Office.
This tour was aimed at people considering moving to or working in Kosai City, and I joined in the hopes of making new discoveries.(It has already ended.)
One of the places we visited was Mansaku Farm, a rare dairy farm that is rare nationwide.
I had heard of Mansaku Farm before, but when I actually visited there, there was a lot I didn’t know.
Through this valuable experience, I felt that I wanted to let as many people as possible know that such a wonderful place exists in Kosai City, so today I would like to introduce the charms of Mansaku Farm in detail!

Utsuyama Seicha is a long-established teahouse that began in 1929 (Showa 4) when the first generation Mr. Washizou Utsuyama started manufacturing rough tea in his own garden. Utsuyama Seicha grows tea leaves in its own fields and manages everything from production, processing, and retailing. We deliver safe and secure tea to all over the country through thorough quality control.
Utsuyama Seicha, located approximately 10 minutes by car from Hamamatsu Nishi Interchange, is easily accessible as it faces the main road from Hamamatsu to Kanzanji.
There is a tea and sweets vending machine “UTSUYAMA TEA & SEWWTS” that operates 24 hours a day, so you can always buy delicious tea and sweets. “Tea Bag Gacha 200 yen/time” is full of fun, as you never know what will come out.
“This month’s recommended item” introduces “Utsuyama Seicha”, which has the style of a long-established store and meets modern needs♪
“Hamamatsu Science Museum” is a spot near the station where you can enjoy learning science while having fun even in the rain.
Have you ever been looking for a spot close to Hamamatsu Station where you can have fun even on rainy days?
Hamamatsu Science Museum makes both of these possible. The museum is divided into zones of nature, force, sound, light, and space, where you can enjoy learning about science while having a variety of experiences.
Furthermore, in the planetarium, which was renovated in March 2022, you can view approximately 100 million stars. Science shows are also popular.
