So, this time I would like to introduce four recommended cafes in Kosai City.

1. Cake & Cafe Chiffon

First of all, the first shop we will introduce is “Cake & Cafe Chiffon”!

“Cake & Cafe Chiffon” is a cake shop that was originally a convenience store.

The parking lot is large and convenient!

There are about 20 seats inside the store, and the atmosphere is calm and time passes slowly.

As the name of the shop suggests, “Cake & Cafe Chiffon” sells a wide variety of cakes, baked goods, and canelés, including chiffon cakes.

 

What is my favorite product? ?

The most recommended product of “Cake & Cafe Chiffon” is definitely the chiffon sandwich!

A chiffon sandwich with fresh cream sandwiched between fluffy chiffon is always delicious.

This is a product I tend to buy as a reward for myself!

From around December, which is the strawberry production season, we also sell strawberry chiffon sandwiches with strawberries added◎

In fact, strawberry production is popular in Kosai City! The warm climate produces sweet and flavorful strawberries!

The strawberry chiffon sandwich, which is a combination of strawberries produced in Kosai City and the shop’s proud chiffon sandwich, is a popular item on the strawberry map created by the Kosai Arai Tourism Association!

2. r cafe　

The next one to introduce is “r cafe”!

“r cafe” just opened in April of this year!

Since opening, the cafe has become popular with people of all ages due to its stylish exterior and cafe menu.

The store is a renovated old private house, and the interior has a tasteful atmosphere with the existing beams and pillars still intact!

In addition, “r cafe” has Lake Hamana open across the road, making it an open and comfortable store with a panoramic view of Lake Hamana!

There is also outdoor terrace seating, so you can eat outside on warm days, or bring your dog along to enjoy the restaurant!

“r cafe” is a cafe that mainly serves gelato.

In addition to gelato, we also offer smoothies, cakes, and one-plate lunches!

One of the most interesting is the cute-looking organic sparkling drink!

It is popular as a refreshing drink, but it is also interesting that the bottle that the drink was in and the bottle after drinking can be recycled and used as a soap dispenser, making it an eco-friendly design.

Special soap pumps are sold in stores!

 

What is my favorite product? ?

My recommended flavor is the triple gelato with pistachio, banana, and chocolate chips!

All of them are rich in flavor and leave a luxurious taste that lingers in your mouth!

About 8 different types of gelato are available at the store every day!

In addition, Mr. Shinohara Construction, the owner of r cafe, has a banana farm near the cafe, where he also grows bananas!

The cultivated bananas are now being sold in stores and at supermarkets!

3. Grow cafe　

The next one to introduce is “Grow cafe”!

“Grow cafe” will celebrate its 1st anniversary on November 23, 2022.

Previously, we used a kitchen truck to sell food on the premises of Tsuttsu, which we will introduce later◎

“Grow cafe” is run by two people, Joe-kun (Brazilian) and Mi-chan, who are affectionately known as Mii-chan.

I want to meet two friendly people and eat delicious food! It’s a store that makes you feel like you’re here.

This restaurant mainly serves Brazilian cuisine, and is open from breakfast to lunch!

Kosai City is also a place where many Brazilians live.

Therefore, there are many restaurants in the city where you can enjoy Brazilian cuisine.

 

What is my favorite product? ?

I always have a set order for what I order when I visit for breakfast.

I will order an acai bowl topped with seasonal fruits!

Actually, I often go to “Grow cafe” in the morning!

The fruits they use are different every time I visit, so I look forward to visiting the store every time!

The other day, I visited during lunch time and had Pasteu, which can be called Brazilian soul food!

Pasteu is said to be a standard item at street food stalls in Brazil.

There are many types of pasteur, so why not try changing the taste depending on your mood that day?

For dessert, I had pavé.

Pave is a cake made with peanut butter and sandwiched with homemade rice flour cookies.

You can enjoy special flavors that you can’t usually taste for breakfast or lunch!

4.Tsutsu & Tsuttsu

The next person I would like to introduce is “Tsu & Tsuttsu”!

“Tsu & Tsuttsu” is commonly known as “Tsuttsu”.

“Tsuttsu” is a stylish cafe located in a quiet residential area along the Hamana River in Araicho.

Tsuttsu is run by a couple who are former interior designers.

The interior of the store is packed with attention to detail, from stylish lighting and desks.

It feels like a unique time and space that can only be experienced at Tsuttsu-san.

The shop mainly sells homemade canelés!

Canelés are now very familiar to us, but in the past few years they have gained a lot of attention, and canelés can now be found in pastry shops, convenience stores, and supermarkets.

The homemade canelés are different depending on the day, and one of the attractions is that the owner will explain each one in detail!

Also, the Chinese tea and special coffee that go with the homemade canelés are a perfect match!

 

What is my favorite product? ?

My favorite product…I can’t choose. (lol)

Every canelé is so delicious that I always try to eat one or two, but end up eating all the flavors of that day. ！

On this day, I received “Colombian Infused Coffee”.

“Infused coffee” refers to coffee that has a unique flavor by adding various aromas to coffee beans.

The flavor of coffee with slightly different characteristics gives you an aroma you’ve never experienced before. !

When I received it, the coffee smelled like strawberries.

You can enjoy the bitterness of coffee and the soft sweetness of strawberries!

The world of coffee that you don’t know about is expanding. (lol)

Time will fly by as you enjoy these exquisite canelés and specialty drinks with the friendly couple. (lol)
