Bell Marine, located in Kosai City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is a marine leisure business that sells and rents boats and watercraft, as well as repairs, maintenance and storage, offers courses for acquiring marine licenses, sells marine supplies at its shop, and experiences marine sports. This is a company that does a wide range of things.
At Bellmarine, you can experience marine activities such as flyboarding, hoverboarding, banana boats, tubing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and cruising.
Among them, the “flyboard”, which uses water pressure to fly through the air, is a place where even beginners can enjoy it with confidence, as the staff who have won the All Japan Championship will kindly and carefully teach you. Why not try a new marine activity this summer with the experienced and proven “Bellmarine”?
This month’s recommendation is “Belmarine” where you can enjoy a wide range of marine leisure activities.
Approximately 15 minutes by car from the Tomei Expressway Mikkabi Interchange. “Bellmarine” is located along National Route 301, with beautiful Lake Hamana in front of the store and mountains in the background, surrounded by nature.
The best location is where you can see the beauty of Lake Hamana in all four seasons. The area around the store is a recreational area, so marine sports are actively practiced.
Mr. Masaki Suzuki, the founder of Bell Marine, originally ran his family’s business, but after becoming interested in fishing and watercraft as a hobby, he eventually decided that he wanted to run a marine business.
While working, he visited the marina he was working at the time, honed his ship repair and other skills, and opened his own business in 1993. Since then, I have been operating a marina in the Riki area of Kosai City for 31 years.
It seems that there were some difficult times in the early days when sales did not increase, but they continued to do business steadily and increased the number of Bellmarine fans.Currently, together with their sons Motoaki and Kansuke, they are spreading the word “the joy of the sea” and creating “Marine.” It plays an active role in supporting people’s lives.
This time, we will specifically introduce three popular types of marine activities that you can experience at Bellmarine.
“Flyboard” is a marine sport developed in France in 2012 that allows you to fly freely both above and below water.
A long hose on the back of the flyboard, which you wear on your feet like a snowboard, is connected to a personal watercraft. You can freely manipulate the water pressure ejected from the watercraft to fly up, down, left and right.
With repeated practice, you’ll be able to do flips and twists just like in gymnastics. Depending on your technique, you can even swim like a dolphin.
Bellmarine is the first store in the Tokai area to incorporate flyboarding into its activities. We are number one in the Tokai region in terms of track record and experience.
The flyboarding experience is only available for a limited time from April to November.
Wakeboarding is a water sport that involves gliding on the surface of the water while being towed by a boat. Just like on a snowboard, you ride the board sideways, with your dominant foot behind you in the direction of travel, and glide across the water while shifting your weight.
This activity is easy for even beginners to try, as they will teach you the basics first.
Participation is possible from elementary school students. You can enjoy it all year round.
Wakesurfing is a sport that uses the undertow of a moving boat to ride waves. Stand up on the board using a rope extending from the boat and let go of the rope when you are ready to ride the wave.
Since you ride the undertow of the boat, you can continue riding the waves while the boat is moving. It is a marine sport that even beginners can enjoy once they get the feel of riding a wave.
Participation is possible from elementary school students. You can enjoy it all year round.
Bellmarine’s activities, which are known for their high customer satisfaction, are carefully guided by professionals who are well-versed in the joys and dangers of the sea, so you can enjoy marine sports with peace of mind.
The instructors are the brothers of Mr. Motoaki Suzuki and Kansuke, who have won the All Japan Flyboard Championship. In addition, top riders will provide guidance.
Even beginners can have fun as they will teach you the tricks.

Introducing the finest sweets using Hamamatsu’s specialty “Ungiimo”! Summer recommendation is “Unagiimo Mont Blanc Soft”
“Unagiimo” is a Hamamatsu-produced sweet potato that is grown using powdered fertilizer made from the remains of eel bones and heads left over from the processing of eels.
The aged “eel sweet potato” increases its sweetness by baking it, reaching a sugar content of about 40 degrees.
Sweets such as pudding, soft serve ice cream, and dorayaki that make use of the original ingredients are very popular. You can purchase the products at the Unagiimo Store stores in Hamamatsu Station, Hamanako Service Area, Togoshi Ginza Shopping District in Tokyo, and some products can be purchased by mail order.
