The hot days continue, and it’s the season when you miss cold things!

This time, we will introduce 4 cool sweets from Kosai City that will blow away the heat!

[Summer recommended store 01] Furusato

The first store we will introduce is Furusato, a well-known restaurant loved by locals!

“Furusato” has been open for 52 years.

In fact, Kosai City has been a city for 52 years, and “Furusato” and Kosai City have been together for the same number of years.

A warm and relaxing interior

There are approximately 40 seats in the calm interior.

The tables in the store have not changed since they first opened and are still in use.

What a lovely table and chairs!

“Wow” and astonished! Abundant cooking menu

If you’ve ever visited Furusato, you’ll understand…

The amount of items on this menu is beyond standard!

When I visited with a friend from out of town, I was surprised by the variety of menu items.

Everything is delicious, so you’ll have a hard time deciding what to eat ◎

Not only will you be surprised by the variety of food menus, but you will also be surprised by the variety of drinks!

Deciding the combination of meals and drinks from a wide variety of menus is one of the pleasures of coming to “Furusato” ♩

A repertoire of ”shaved ice” that rivals any meal menu

If there is a wide variety of food menus, there is no shortage of types of shaved ice…

There are approximately 60 types of shaved ice listed on the menu.

Even with this, there are some flavors that are limited edition or are no longer available.

You can enjoy shaved ice unique to Furusato, including the classic strawberry milk, freshly squeezed lemon, yogurt blueberry, and more!

This time, I received “Uji Kinako Cream Kintoki”!

Actually, this “Uji Kinako” series was once removed from the menu, but it seems that it has returned to the menu from this year as a popular menu item in the past!

The shaved ice of “Uji Kinako Cream Kintoki” has a strong flavor of Uji matcha, and the aroma of kinako and sweetness of Kintoki are good accents. Enjoy the luxurious taste with crispy ice!

The story behind the rich menu

Behind this rich menu, there are some interesting stories…!

In fact, in the beginning, there was no such variety of food or shaved ice. However, they have adopted customer requests and have reached the current number!

You can tell that this is a shop that is deeply rooted in the local community and is loved by the town.
