Participate in a Strawberry-Picking Experience

Due to its warm climate, Hamamatsu is a prime location for growing fruit. Strawberry-picking experiences, in particular, are currently gaining popularity. There are many farms near Lake Hamana where visitors can partake in fruit picking from December to May. At most farms, visitors are welcome to pick fruit for 30 minutes and eat them on the spot. This is an excellent opportunity to savor sweet Japanese strawberries.
